    Review of actions carried out in Saudia Arabia

    Evaluation of the territorial coordination policies of insitutions

    Hcéres designed external evaluation standards for evaluating the site policies of the Paris-Est University. Bernard Dizambour, President of the University, talked to Hcéres about the process.

    Hcéres evaluates health study programmes

    As part of the 2015-2016 evaluation campaign, Hcéres will be evaluating the following programmes for the first time:

    • general bachelor’s-level programmes in medical and pharmaceutical sciences, dentistry and midwifery;
    • further master’s-level training in medical and pharmaceutical sciences, dentistry and the French State midwifery qualification.

    Cooperation agreement signed between Hcéres and ANVUR

    Hcéres and the Agenzia nazionale di valutazione del sistem universitario e della ricerca (ANVUR) signed a cooperation agreement before the French and Italian Ministers for higher education and research at the summit between France and Italy on 24 February 2015 at the Elysée Palace in Paris. The goal is to establish a long-term partnership and contribute to improving higher education and research in France, Italy and the international community.

    More than 940 participants attended information meetings on the methodology and processes for the 2015-2016 evaluation campaign (Group B), from January to mid-February.

    Réseau FR

    The Francophone network of higher education quality agencies (Réseau FR), recently created by Hcéres, CTI, AAQ, and AEQES has been working to translate in French the updated European Standards and Guidelines (ESG), and discussing the new challenges surrounding the quality assurance of distance learning

    Hcéres has European recognition and denies any downward slide in its evaluation processes

    The European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR) have just decided that the recognition of AERES, which was granted in 2011, has been transferred to the French High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (Hcéres) until its evaluation for the renewal of this recognition.

    Activity Report 2014

    Rapport d'activité 2014

    Hcéres has published the AERES Activity Report 2014, adopted by the Hcéres Board on 17 December 2014.

    The report covers the activity of AERES during 2014, which involved carrying out evaluations for Group E (2013-2014), launching evaluations for Group A (2014-2015) and preparing evaluations for Group B (2015-2016). It presents the evaluation methods and changes implemented, a look at evaluation ethics, European and international activities, and the outlook for 2015.

    The website presents a single page per institution and body evaluated which lists the evaluation reports associated with them.

    NOTE:

    • research unit evaluation reports can be accessed from the page of the institution or body to which they are attached
    • the website contains evaluation reports published by both Hcéres and AERES (all evaluation campaigns).

    INRA and CEA evaluation reports

    On 20 January 2010, Jean-François Dhainaut, AERES President, submitted the evaluation reports of the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA) and French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) to the Minister Valérie Pécresse.
